What is a Physiatrist?

A physiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in physical medicine, rehabilitation, and pain medicine. These spine specialists focus on the body's musculoskeletal system, which includes bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves.

My doctor is referring me to a surgeon - Isn't there anything else I can try?

Talk with your doctor about exploring less invasive options.  Perhaps a referral to NeurosurgeryOne at Interwest Rehabilitation would be appropriate.  Just have your doctor send a referral and medical records to our office.  Our doctors will review your case and you'll be contacted to schedule if they think they can help you.

What is a Physician Assistant?

Physician assistants (PAs) are medical providers who are licensed to diagnose and treat illness and disease and prescribe medication for patients. PAs work in physician offices, hospitals and clinics in collaboration with a licensed physician

World Class Physicians

At NeurosurgeryOne at Interwest Rehabilitation we care for our patients in the same manner we would care for a close friend or family member. We listen to you - paying close attention to how your symptoms affect your life.  We work with patients to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. We are dedicated to compassionate care using state-of-the-art treatments and a team approach.

We Keep You Moving Forward

We pride ourselves in helping patients achieve relief from back, neck, spine, and major joint pain.  Utilizing several modalities, patients have options.  We take the time to explore those options.  Many of our patients come to us to explore alternatives to surgery and opiate use.

What Makes for a Good Doctor?

- Are they engaged in your care?

- Do they explore conservative treatment options?

- Do they move you on to the right people when the time is right?
